FAQ

What type of fishing gear do we use?

8ft Shimano fishing rods, Shimano reels with 80 lb test...great for the big ones but also gives you a good fight with the smaller sturgeon. We also have 6ft 6 "Ugly Sticks", for bigger bait and bigger fish!!

What do we use for bait?

We bate with the current runs of the Fraser...including, eulichans, pinks, sockeye, springs and ditch worms (fresh water eel)!!

How many rods are allowed to be in the water at one time?

1 rod per license however we only like to have 4 rods going at a time.

Do we offer log inspection services?

Yes, all inspections have to be booked through Harken Towing

Where do we depart from?

Our main base is a private dock at 1950 Argue st. Right near the Gillnetter Pub! We will however do pickups at any boat launch. Anything over 30 min from Gillnetter (boating time) will be extra, call to discuss.

What boat do we use?

22 ft Hells Canyon custom Rush HD jet boat, 496 big block, 425 horse, 212 pump, state of the art navigation (for late nights), top of the line fish finder, diesel heater (for those extra cold days), fully railed deck, stereo system with ipod hook up (bring your own music if you like).

Where do we fish?

We fish all the hot spots on the lower Pitt River as well as spots in Mission and all the way down.

Will we do custom packages?

Oh yah, just ask...anything is possible!

Do we donate to charities?

Yes we do! Please call us to discuss

What form of payment do we take?

Cash and Cheque, payment is due at pick up..no deposit required.

Washroom?

Bucket or hang off the side deck!

What do we need to bring?

A good attitude, snacks, food for the Bar-B-Q (if would like and requested), drinks and your fishing license.

How do you get your fishing license?

Please click on the department of fisheries link for acquiring a "Tidal" fishing license. It is an easy on line system that allows you to pay for and print your ticket from your home. You also have the option to visit any dealer that sells fishing licenses.
